Your generous support will help us grow Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) Events in the Greater Houston Area. STEAM events inspire learning, creativity and invention throughout the community! The various events presented by Innovation Spark, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit are committed to the advancement of STEAM education throughout the Greater Houston Area. All of our staff work as unpaid volunteers, so all funds go directly to the execution of programs.

Our Current programs include the following:

• Greater Houston Maker Space Crawl: Our Annual Maker Crawl event showcases the community makerspaces and innovation labs that are located around the Greater Houston Area. This is a free program put on by Innovation Spark, to encourage people to get out and learn about all the tools and technology that is available to them at a relatively low cost.
• Innovation Spark Festivals: Innovation spark festivals are partnerships with Cities and Local organizations that wish to showcase Innovation and Creativity within their community. Innovation spark works with them to identify their current strengths and future opportunities and to build a program that helps the community realize their potential.
• High Adrenaline Combat Robotics (HACR): Our robotics program includes events such as our Bot Builder Class and Competitions that we host at multiple locations throughout the year.
• Internet of Things (IOT) Program: Innovation spark has partnered with Hardwario to provide simple IoT Kits that enable students to learn the latest technologies at a low cost. The introduction provides the students with the skills they need for todays technology environment.
• ROBOTICA@Comicpalooza: This is our premiere event and occurs annually. We created this event to encourage and to bring the South Texas Robotics Community together for a large event. We feature a variety of Robotics Competitions at our event, including RoboMasters, HACR Combat Robotics, General Robotics. We have a presentation stage where leaders in the industry talk about the current and future needs of robotics.
