HACR

High Adrenaline Combat Robotics (HACR) is a group dedicated to promoting and hosting events in the exciting and growing sport of robotic combat. Our purpose is to provide a platform for participants to showcase their technical skills, creativity, and design capabilities while also providing an entertaining and thrilling experience for spectators.

We host both public and university league events, where teams of enthusiasts and students build and compete with their robots in intense, high-energy battles. Our events are designed to provide a safe and controlled environment for participants to push their robots to the limits, with the goal of being crowned the champion.

In addition to hosting exciting and competitive events, HACR is also dedicated to promoting STEM education and providing educational opportunities for students and young people interested in robotics and engineering. Through our events and initiatives, we strive to inspire and encourage the next generation of engineers and robotics enthusiasts.

Bot Build Classes and Kits

Innovation Spark provides Combat Build Classes that are hosted at your site, or we can host at EPO Houston. Our kits provide everything needed to get started in robotics building.

The kits use open source designs that are easily accessible by anyone. They are intended to provide participants with the foundational skills needed to build robots. Through the class students will learn:

  • How to solder
  • How to test electronics components (motors, servo’s, radio transmitters, esc’s)
  • How to assemble and repair their equipment
  • Gain foundational knowledge about the various 3d printed parts and receive the STL files needed to print new components.

The final product is a competition ready robot, that they can use at our robotics competitions.

University League

Innovation Spark has partnered with Universities and Organizations around the world to create a way for us to share information about the University team's success. These statistics will be used to create the brackets for the annual ROBOTICA University Cup Competition. University teams that wish to participate only have to register their bot on the Robot Combat Events Site and self identify that they are associated with a higher education institution.
